Professional Massage Training Program Spring Renewal has many important qualities that we feel give you a superior educational experience. Our teaching techniques are designed with the varied learning styles of our students in mind, whether that is by seeing, hearing, doing or experiencing. At Spring Renewal we teach our students to do an integrated massage. This means that they are exposed to more than just Swedish massage. Students will be introduced to a number of techniques that will provide them a broader base from which to work than graduates from other schools. We teach our students how to work with their clients body instead of against it. Most people do not want to hurt the day after a massage and we honor that. We also honor our students by teaching them how to work smarter, not harder so that their bodies will not give out after a few years. Jacob, one of our founders has been doing massage for over 18 years and is still going strong. Students enrolling in the professional program will complete 600 hours of formal training in massage therapy. Students attend class one full day (8 hours) per week for about 18 months. Homework and practice sessions outside of class will also require about 6 hours per week. With instructor approval two modules may be taken together to shorten the length of the program to less than 12 months. Transfer credit may be given for related training.
